  I have wanted to make this Noro skirt, ever since I saw it in Noro’s Premiere Issue for Fall 2012. I have made the swatch and the gauge is right on using Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn. Somehow I need to find the time, because I would love to wear it this fall.

If you have ever had the desire to knit up some lingerie, the book Knitting Lingerie Style is one of the best I’ve come across. I knit the baby doll top in bamboo yarn as a Valentine’s treat for myself.

I love a shaggy white bathmat to step on out of the shower. I can’t wait to make this one from Purl Soho. It’s knitted in a worsted cotton (perfect for collecting moisture), and the loop stitch. The loop stitch is a fun, handy technique to learn, and its decorative possibilities are endless.

What a great use for linen, lingerie! My most recent post discusses knitting with linen, one of best yarns for summer clothing. Louet sells the above lingerie pattern, knit in their Euroflax product. I just got an idea for a nightgown in linen; certainly would be more comfortable for those hot summer nights.
