“Strands of Joy” by Anna Johanna, available from Laine contains what she refers to as mindless two-colour stranded projects, which are all knit from the top down. I agree that working with two colours in a row is much easier than garments knit in a full array of colours with many yarn ends to weave in. This geometric, casual cardigan reminds me of those from late 1980s, which were all the rage in designer collections. A lovely addition to your wardrobe. Do check out the other versatile, colourwork projects in this magazine.
